The accreditation for the Certificate II in Workplace Practices will expire on 28 November 2016.
School RTOs should transition from this qualification in accordance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 (Clause 1.26). Therefore, no new students should be enrolled in this course after the expiration date of 28 November 2016. Accredited courses that have become non-current will remain on an RTO’s scope of registration for a period of two years. RTOs are therefore able to train and assess in these courses until the end date of the accredited course.
The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority has previously provided advice to schools on transition arrangements for the qualification in Memo 036/15.
